I snuck in once back stage to meet Kris Kristofferson with a press pass I got from sources I cannot identify. I sat there with him. Peppered him with questions and compliments. Once he clued into the fact I did not fit in with the rest of the reporters he smiled at me and laughed. Its very inspiring to meet your heroes if you can handle it. Once you see their size and stature up close and in person and how they lean and carry themselves the humanity of your heroes gets disclosed and only then do you get to marvel at what they have achieved in this life being what they are physically.
